Terms & Conditions

Your use of our services and website is governed by the terms and conditions of Zap and Shine Crew. By engaging Zap & Shine Crew for cleaning services or accessing our website, you agree to comply with these terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue using our services immediately. Zap & Shine Crew reserves the right to amend these terms at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use our services, you agree to the updated terms.

General Terms

  1. Scope of Service: 
    • Zap & Shine Crew specializes in rug, mattress, couch, and car seat cleaning.
    • We do not guarantee stain removal or provide assurances for any results beyond general cleaning.
  2. No Liability for Incidents: 
    • Zap & Shine Crew is not responsible for any unexpected incidents, damages, or inappropriate outcomes arising during or after the cleaning process.
    • This includes, but is not limited to, property damage, discoloration, wear and tear, or adverse reactions from cleaning products.

Cancellations & Reschedules

  1. Cancellation Policy: 
    • Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled service time to avoid fees.
    • Requests made within 24 hours of the service time will incur a cancellation or reschedule fee of $50 or 20% of the total booking amount, whichever is higher.
    • If access to the property is denied (e.g., customer no-show or lockout), you will be charged up to the full amount of the booked service.
  2. Rescheduling: 
    • Reschedule requests made less than 48 hours before the service may incur additional fees based on scheduling availability.

Payments

  1. Payment Terms: 
    • All payments must be made immediately after the completion of the service.
    • We accept major credit cards and digital payment methods. Cash payments are also accepted.
  2. Late Payments: 
    • Payments not cleared on the day of service may incur a late fee of $25, with an additional $5 per day for delays exceeding three days.

Arrival Times

  • We strive to arrive at the scheduled time; however, a 30-minute flexibility window applies.
  • Example: If your booking is at 10:00 AM, our team may arrive between 9:30 AM and 10:30 AM.

Customer Responsibilities

  1. Access to Property: 
    • Customers must ensure access to the property at the scheduled time. Failure to do so may result in cancellation fees as outlined above.
  2. Preparation for Service: 
    • Customers must remove personal items or fragile belongings from the cleaning area before the appointment.
    • Zap & Shine Crew is not responsible for moving heavy furniture or appliances. Areas requiring cleaning behind such items must be prepared by the customer beforehand.
  3. Utilities: 
    • Access to electricity and running water is mandatory. In the absence of these, services will proceed to the best of our ability but without warranty.
  4. Property Condition: 
    • Zap & Shine Crew reserves the right to refuse service or adjust the service cost if the condition of the property differs significantly from the description provided during booking.

Stain Removal & Limitations

  1. No Guarantee on Stain Removal: 
    • We do not guarantee the removal of stains, as outcomes depend on various factors, including the type, age, and severity of the stain.
  2. Exclusions from Service: 
    • Services do not include repairs, restoration, or cleaning of materials or areas beyond the specified scope.

Complaints & Claims

  1. Reporting Issues: 
    • Complaints or concerns must be submitted in writing within 24 hours of the completed service.
    • Provide your name, booking details, and a detailed description of the issue, including photos if applicable.
  2. Resolution Process: 
    • We will evaluate complaints and propose appropriate remedies. If unresolved, either party may refer the matter to consumer protection agencies or legal advisors.
  3. Damage Claims: 
    • Zap & Shine Crew is not liable for damages to items subject to wear and tear, fragile materials, or pre-existing conditions.

Safety & Liability

  • Zap & Shine Crew reserves the right to decline services if the environment is unsafe for our team.
  • Customers agree to indemnify Zap & Shine Crew against any liabilities, damages, or losses resulting from the cleaning process.

Use of Services
